Garden Centre Cafe Morden Hall Park Opening Times Morden Hall Park is open every day from 9am-5pm. Please note, if you are planning on walking the Wandle Trail, you won't be able to follow the path through Morden Hall Park outside of these hours. The park is closed all day on Christmas day and boxing day, and closes an hour early on Christmas eve.

The National Trust has announced plans to manage its first garden centre at Morden Hall Park in south London. The conservation charity which cares for over 200 gardens across England, Wales and Northern Ireland ranging from historical landscape gardens to intimate cottage gardens and walled vegetable gardens plans to open the new centre next spring.

National Trust opens Britain's first peatfree garden centre at Morden Hall Park Amateur Gardening
A moated garden of the late 18th century, set within a park created in the late 19th century. DESCRIPTION LOCATION, AREA, BOUNDARIES, LANDFORM, SETTING Morden Hall Park is located in urban south-west London and lies c 500m south of Merton, c 300m east of Morden, c 4km north of Sutton, and c 1.5km east of Mitcham.

£12.20 a month National Trust Buy Now Dogs are welcome on a short lead in the rose garden, around buildings, in the cafés, garden centre, play area and on the Wetland Boardwalk. If you want to explore the area more you can walk along the Wandle Trail which heads north towards Wandsworth.

The plant centre and café were developed within the original walled kitchen garden in the early 1990s. But in 2015 the Nation Trust gained a double first at Morden Hall Park. Firstly they opened the trust's first 'proper' garden centre. And secondly they were the first peat-free garden centre.

The first National Trust Garden Centre is now open here, with a whole range of new and exciting products. There is also a rose garden which has over two thousand roses and the kitchen garden supplies fresh fruit and vegetables all year round to the Potting Shed café.
