Lough Muskry Walk is a moderate 3.5 hour walking route around the shores of Lough Muskry at the foothills of Greenane Mountain (802m), Co. Tipperary, Ireland. The walking route passes through woodland, beautiful scenery and the cliffs of the Galtee Mountains and returning on the same route.

Galtymore and Galtybeg are the highest points in County Limerick and Tipperary. Galtymore sits at an altitude of 917.8m and Galtybeg sits at 799.2m high. We packed all our hiking bags Friday evening after we got home from work, as we knew we would have an early start on Saturday morning if we wanted to achieve our plans to Climb the 2 high points.

The Galty (or "Galtee") Mountains are a broadly straight 30-kilometre (20 mi) east-west grass-covered range with a 15-kilometre (9 mi) central ridge section, stretching from Greenane 801 metres (2,628 ft) in the east, to Temple Hill 783 metres (2,569 ft) in the west.

The Galtee Mountains are located on the border of Cork, Tipperary and Limerick. They're pretty much the halfway mark between my home and Noelle's, we've passed them so many times driving up and down to each other, we thought we'd go in for a closer look.

This is a wonderful trail up one of the highest mountains in Ireland, Galtymore (or Galteemore), which, on clear days, offers breathtaking views from its summit. It is one of the 13 Munros in Ireland and is located in the Galtee Mountain range. This trail takes the northern approach up to its summit.

Galtymore or Galteemore ( Irish: Cnoc Mór na nGaibhlte, meaning big hill of the Galtees ), is a mountain in the province of Munster, Ireland. At 917.9 metres (3,011 ft), it is one of Ireland's highest mountains, being the 12th-highest on the Arderin list, and 14th-highest on the Vandeleur-Lynam list.
